Viking Projects (UK) Ltd
Viking Projects (UK) Ltd are a rapidly-growing groundworks business based in Southampton, who SHMS Accountants have worked with since their inception in July 2010.
The Project
The directors at Viking Projects (UK) Ltd approached us to work with them as they knew we worked closely with other construction companies in the local area. Another of the SHMS Group companies, SHMS Contracting Ltd, also offers a skilled labour supply service that was required by the company. It made sense to provide both accounting and contracting services under one roof.
The Result
From the outset, the directors had ambitious growth plans and they've continued to grow every year since 2010.
Due to the growth of Viking Projects (UK) Ltd, there has been a move to larger premises, upgrades in software to run the company operations more efficiently and also investment in new assets.
We have quarterly meetings to discuss the company performance, their accounting and CIS needs and also make plans for the future.
Although we do not process the day-to-day bookkeeping for the business, we are just an email or phone call away to support the internal accounting function and answer any questions the directors may have.
