Terms & Conditions

Refer a Friend Scheme

Regarding referrals given to us by someone for an individual or company that require the services offered by SHMS Accountants

Once the referral has started to use SHMS Accountants' services, on receipt of the first payment by the company or individual referred, 20% of the NET invoice value up to a maximum of £125 (or any promotional time-based value higher than £125) will be paid to the referrer within the first 2 weeks of the month following payment of the first invoice.

If the referred company or individual pays SHMS Accountants on a monthly payment plan then the 20% commission will be based on the first 12 months' aggregated NET invoice value up to a maximum of £125 (or any promotional time-based value higher than £125).

20 Day Turnaround Guarantee

SHMS Accountants guarantee that within 20 working days of receipt of the books and records from a customer, we will henceforth provide at least a draft accounting report for all of these services, based on the documents provided:

  • Self-assessment.
  • VAT returns.
  • Payroll.
  • Limited company accounts.
  • Companies House returns.
  • Management accounts.
  • CIS returns.
  • Any other ad-hoc work agreed to be completed.

Should we not provide at least a draft accounting report based on the information provided, consequently the client will receive the following:

  • If paying for services on a monthly payment plan, the whole of 1 month's fees will be refunded.
  • There will be a 10% reduction in the invoice for the work, if paying by invoice.
  • If the work has been paid for in advance, there will be a refund of 10% of the payment made.

Payments

SHMS Accountants clients who pay on a monthly fixed fee basis do so on the understanding that the work quoted for is based on all 12 payments being received for the work referred to.

This applies to the first 24 months of the fixed fees being paid. If a client leaves part way through either of the first two 12 month periods, SHMS Accountants reserves the right to invoice for the balance of the 12 month period not fully paid for, unless agreed otherwise.

If the client was to leave after 24 months then the work will cease in the month the payments stopped, unless agreed otherwise, and no further payments will be required.

Anti-Spam Policy - Effective Date 08/05/2018

SHMS Ltd is strongly opposed to spam.

We provide free special reports and newsletters, no obligation meeting requests and other products and services. These are also only provided to those who sign up to them or choose to receive them. If you would like to sign up to our mailing list, contact us and we will add you.

Mailing lists can be opted out of at any time and SHMS never share or sell lists to third parties.
